What a fantastic release event! In regards of my upcoming album „Forget About The Music“ and inspired by my friend Teder´s release party in autumn 2023, I hosted the first edition of a new series of indie music events last night and it went totally over my expectations.
I’m super happy with the outcomes - fantastic music, a chilled crowd, many fresh faces and connections and lots of dancing people. It was literally the best party of 2024 yet <3
The event kicked off with a brillant performance by UK artist Riigs. The London based producer delivered a fantastic electronic music set, performed entirely on the Push 3. The 40 min set was just a pleasure to listen to. Find out more about Riigs here.
Next up was a short but intensive performance by Bernardo San Rafael. „Tension“ is an installation with a score composed by me. It's a performance about the relationships between humans and the urban environment they are living in. The threads as a symbol for fragility and distance, connections and ruptures.
Then it was my turn with a set that I first performed back in November at Sonic Playground 2023 in Copenhagen. The crowd loved the faster tracks towards the end and there was a great vibe again. The set included a few album tracks as well („Empire“, „The Worst Thing To Live Without“).
I will Update the post with the entire set recording soon.
My personal highlight was the end of my set when Zurich based artist Ingeborg entered the stage and performed „Siren“ with me. I produced an updated version of my track „Swim To You“ with her and Ingeborg wrote new lyrics and hooks for the song that we re-titled to„Siren“.
The track will be released as a single in February as part of a remix-album titled "Forget About The Remix". The collaboration with Ingeborg was just a marvel - you can bet that we gonna work closer together in the near future as we both think her voice and my music are making a great team.
The night ended with a vibrant DJ set by lovely Mike Dops. My friend took all the way down from east/north Germany to Zurich to celebrate with us and we felt his passion for house music in every second of his set. Chapeau - I'm really honored about his performance and contribution to the event.
Now comes the best part of all! This event was just the beginning. I plan to host a frequent series of it! The next edition is already planned and the lineup is confirmed including
Bernardo San Rafael (CR)
Deega (IT)
Nogasayan (DE)
Miles Kvndra (DE)
Calck (IT)
I can’t wait to welcome these talented artists in Zurich on March 30. Info and RSVP
