As you may have already seen, I have a whole series of events planned for this year. I already started last year - I wanted to try out “SP Sessions Zurich” to see if I like organizing such events.

I had always organized the lighting and sound equipment at a local rental company, but that costs money and is quite inconvenient as I don't have a car. So now was the time to invest in my own equipment because I have a few more events coming up this year and the investment will quickly pay for itself.

In addition to the HK Audio Polar 12 system, I also bought a compact lighting system, the Stairville LED BossFx-1 Pro Bundle Complete from Thomann (it's their own brand).

The system offers 2 flood panels, 2 derby with LEDs in red, green and blue, a laser in red and green and 4 strobe lights in white.

It comes with a remote control, a stand, 2 bags and a footpedal to switch between the auto shows without touching the device.

I decided to go for this model because the price is pretty good (325 CHF = 345 EUR), flexible for moving lights and color floods, and it has DMX build in so I can extend the system later - I can imagine to use this light for my upcoming ambient shows with an additional DMX controller so I can adjust the color of the scene accordingly and without dedicated operator.
