Free Workshop: How to make Dubtechno Chords with Ableton Live

Goal of the workshop

Learn how to design your very own dub techno chords with Ableton Live Stock Plugins in this online workshop. 

Procedure

In a live presentation, I will first show you the basics that you can use to create great dub techno chords. The focus is deliberately not on simply recreating the examples shown, but rather on learning concepts that you can use after the workshop to go on further dubtechno explorations on your own. 

Afterwards, you will have time to put your newly acquired knowledge into practice - let your imagination run wild! You can simply create a loop or continue working on an existing track! The important thing is that you put your theoretical knowledge into practice. 

Finally, the results of the practical implementation will be shared with the other participants if desired. This will give you the opportunity to receive valuable feedback and, of course, I will be happy to answer any questions you may have. 

Prerequisites

I will work with Ableton Live 12 Suite Stock plusings only. You can participate with any DAW, but I probably won't be able to give you any specific feedback on other software than Ableton Live. The session will take place online as a Zoom meeting, the link will be emailed to you.
