Welcome to Daily Dawless, a podcast about handmade electronic music! So I wanted to create a place for musicians and electronic music lovers to collect music that's dawless produced and electronic.

Hey folks! Here’s another dawless Polyend Tracker song. For this dubhouse track, I started exploring the Song mode of the machine in detail and focused less on the performance aspect of the song. It’s really amazing how easy it works. Beside the gear exploration, my primary goal was to create an instrument that uses the glide effects of the sequencer. In particular, I use a simple pad sample that plays in granular mode. The grain position is constantly modulated by the LFO (that causes the variating gain factor of the instrument). It's getting cozy, snow's falling here in Zurich and I hope you're all doing well! Before the year comes to an end, there's a last release of 59 Perlen out today. This is an important release, as it marks the end and the start of a new chapter of my project In 2021, and it's a remix of a typical 59 Perlen track. The Avante-Garde version of "Luna Plena" was produced by my good friend and Canadian musician Twilight Music Sculpture and it's out now. Last week, North South Project Remix of my track "Luna Senescens" got released. Now the remixing rallye continues with another very cool revamp! My mate Craig Olsen got his hands on "Luna Nova", another song taken from my October EP "Lunation 1209". Craig put his very own melodic spices on the progressive house track and I just can congrate him for the excellent work. „Luna Nova (Craig Olsen Remix)“ is out now on Bandcamp and the streaming platform of your choice. The highlight of our "Garagen" project took place tonite with the premiere of the "Garagen Live Experience". What a blast! For all those who couldn't attend the premiere, the performances are still available for viewing on our YouTube channels. Thanks to all viewers for coming, it was a great experience with you in the chat! And it's also time for HUGE "Thank you" to my friend Atlas Castle for the wonderful collaboration on this great project. I'm already looking forward to my "real" visit in Copenhagen. The North South Project Remix of my track "Luna Senescens" has been released today. "North South Project" is a band from the North and South regions of Germany. There music is mostly house flavored and we've played one of their tracks on "The Life Music Music" podcast a while ago. I loved the track they submitted, and so I asked them if they'd be interested doing a remix for me. And this is the wonderful result - a charming Re-Work of "Luna Senescens" that keeps both core elements of the original track but also adds a lot of the specific band-flavors that I love so much. You can buy the track as usual on my website, on Bandcamp or stream the single on most platforms. The original EP "Lunation 1209" is still available on my website or Bandcamp.

"GARAGEN" EP is now out on Bandcamp and all your favourite streaming services! We hope you enjoyed the journey that we shared with you guys over the past weeks and we're looking forward to hear your opinions! The EP is made of four tracks, simply titled "I, II, III & IV" (if you ever asked why the Single is titled "V" ... now you know it). Each of these tracks reflects our very own ideas, but they share the same spirit and passion for making music away from the computer. Performed live and sometimes imperfect. That's the dawless idea. But the journey doesn't stop here! The "Live" factor was a significant element for us when we started working out the concept and so you can join the “Garagen” live experience on Sunday 31st on our Youtube channels! I'm currently working on a couple of collabs and they are all Digitakt based. This little groovy Digitakt jam is one of them, it got pretty minimalistic and I love the groove that all elements create together. While my previous jams made heavy use of Midi Loopbacks and effect modulation, I wanted to go back to a much more minimalistic style with less effects in this pattern.
